Illustrations for New Empress Magazine - This was a commission for new film magazine called New Empress. I was asked to provide 2 illustrations based on the Oscar-nominated film, Black Swan. It seemed logical to base illustrations on the concepts of the white swan and the black swan, or “good” and “evil”.
The “dark” illustration was used as a mock-up cover for the first issue of New Empress magazine, and was used alongside the “light” illustration to accompany an article on the movie.
