- PopUpBikes Manchester is an indoor bicycle park in the city, which also offers bicycle repairs and houses a café selling fresh coffee. My brief was to create a logo which reflected the nature of the business, and also emphasised the 'green' nature of the enterprise.The business is located in an old railway arch, and the premises are quite distinctive. Customers had remarked upon what a great space the arch was, and I had also noticed this.So I created a logo based upon the spokes of a bicycle wheel and tried to incorporate these within an arch. The stencil style typeface is meant to evoke coffee crates, and the star ties all the elements together, whilst also being a nod to the community element of Popup Bikes.I also designed flyers and a sign, incorporating the branding.
