Albert Square Drain Cover

I entered and won a competition launched by Manchester City Council to design a manhole cover for the remodelled Albert Square in Manchester. 

My design, along with 5 others, has been made into a cast iron drain cover as part of a historic regeneration project to restore Albert Square as one of the finest civic spaces not just in the UK but in Europe.

Fo my design, I focused on some of Greater Manchester’s historic innovations and firsts in the world of science, industry and sport.
